you don't know what the double standard is? well, i can't completely blame ya, it's a term created on fanpop by me a while back, used to describe the gender-bender scenarios... i have written a definition for it, but it's kinda lengthy... do you want to read it?
well here it is, note that it's not a "dictionary" like definition, it's just there to help with the understanding of the word and its concept.
it can be "interpreted" many ways but "double-standard" means:
in the case of a gender-swap/parallel world (parallel worlds may or may not follow the double-standard rule) scenario then the characters/events/and places will all be relevant to each other...
Example: if one man dies in one world than his female counterpart dies as well in the other, if he falls in love with this one girl, then she falls in love the that woman's male counterpart... if he's a hero then his counterpart's a hero.
depending on how it's used i can also mean a pic that has parallelism in that it represents the Genderbent side OR that it has both the normal and the genderbent sides together doing a reflection of each other...
but to simplify just think of it as both sides (double) are the same (standard)
